It has been a long time coming! but alas mission call came on May 2, 2015- the call was to macon Georgia- to enter the MTC on July 13,2015.
1- It started in december with the Mission President from Nauvoo calling Garth to see if he wanted to be a teamster- and drive horse teams in Nauvoo.
2- We started in december to get our mission papers ready. We ran into a few snags. Garth had to get his left knees replaced, he had prostate cancer( discovered by having mission tests), recovery time was months . We missed the opportunity to go to Nauvoo . but we are still in the running to get our mission call.
3-We both also had to retire from our jobs me from Delta hospital as a RN (may 8,2015) Garth from IPSC as operator(March 13, 2015).
4- God place helpers in our way to get us through these challenges. We have had such great support from our familis snd children
